Oslo Cathedral

For the festival church service on Lady Day, Oslo Cathedral Choir and Bergen Cathedral Choir perform motets by Anton Bruckner, under the direction of the choirs’ conductors, Kjetill Almenning and Vivianne Sydnes. Organist: Marcus André Berg. Sermon: Dean Pål Kristian Balstad. Priest: Valborg Orset Stene.

Uranienborg church

Uranienborg church’s choir school, consisting of 80 children and teenagers, takes part in the festival church service, under the direction of cantor Henriette Skagen. Magnificat (Mary’s Hymn of Praise) is the musical point of focus. Priest: Sigrun Reinhardtsen. Cantor: Inger-Lise Ulsrud.

Sagene church

For the festival church service in Sagene Church, Sagenekoret (the Sagene choir) under the direction of conductor Øyvind Fossen participates, with a musical programme consisting of folk tunes from East and West, both Norwegian and international. Cantor: Stein Erika Skøyeneie. Priest: Knut Rygh.
